Good luck to everyone taking their exams this session - Jenny's advice to the Level 3 students is just as true at level 2:
'Make sure you take your time reading through the questions so you know exactly what is required.
Move on from a question if you are stuck on it and come back to it at the end if you have time.
Try and use full botanical names for all plant examples.
Only give the required number of examples, reasons etc. that are asked for.
Look at both the words used in the question, and the marks awarded for each part for how much detail you need. Questions that are explain and describe need more detail than list or state.
It is sometimes easier and quicker to answer questions using bullet points or numbered points. '
Make sure you know where you are going, and if your exams are in the morning make a lot of allowance for traffic.
Take a spare pen with you....and remember you only need to get HALF of the points to pass!
All the best
