Jo from GreenArt has been in touch with us to see if any of our students would like to join their team: GreenArt have in the past asked us to do training workshops with their staff, as they are very keen to develop skills in their workforce and give them incentives to stay on and progress in the company.

'...some of your RHS students may be ideal candidates for the positions we are looking to fill. They may not looking for full time work if gardening is a hobby, but may jump at the chance to get paid for what they love doing. Alternatively, they may be looking for full-time work with their new-found skills. The gardens we care for are all within a 20 mile radius of Wallingford, predominantly around Henley, Nettlebed, Wallingford and The Astons. They are all private gardens and the clients are keen to see them cared for and developed, rather than just maintained. Therefore there is usually scope to suggest improvements and changes to the garden and several of our clients garden alongside the team when they are there.

I’d be really grateful if you could make your students – past and present – aware of the opportunities at GreenArt and encourage them to get in touch with me directly, if they would like to apply their horticultural skills to gardens varying in size, age and complexity.
