‘Something nice to study, phoning up a buddy….’*

Just at the moment, we all need some reasons to be cheerful.

Everyone involved in BEST is going to stay available (and healthy, if they can, by taking all the sensible precautions recommended) to help you keep studying.

Your online tutors are likely to be busier than usual, with more of you taking enforced time at home and using this to study, so if you have general questions do please share them in the chat rooms so that more of us can see them to answer you – and your fellow students can chip in as well. It's good to be remnded that there are other people out there studying too, and puzzled by the same things.

And if there is something vaguely horticultural you want to share with other people, a reason to be cheerful, please do.

*In 1977  - too far back for many of you to remember - Ian Dury and the Blockheads released an album called ‘Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll’, including daft and catchy little song ‘'Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3'.   (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcjh1a9Yoao)

It's not exactly Julie Andrews singing 'raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens', more cockney punk than that, but it does make you smile.
