Jenny, our level 3 tutor, has a lot of experience marking and moderating  RHS exam scripts and has put together these definitions of the key terms used in both the syllabus and in RHS exam questions.

The idea is to give you guidance on how much you are expected to know or write about a topic, and the sort of depth in which you should be covering it. Our course notes will usually give you more than the basic information to help your understanding, but with the time pressure of very short exams you need to go through in your revision and consolidate this down to the core information  the RHS can ask you about in the exams.
